Behavioral Psychologist - Mission Children's Hospital

Mission Children's Hospital has an opening for a doctoral-level pediatric behavioral psychologist in Asheville, NC. This individual will join Koren Boggs, PhD, pediatric behavioral psychologist and director of the Autism Program at the Olson Huff Center for Child Development at Mission Children's Hospital.

Job responsibilities include:

• Diagnostic assessment and outpatient behavioral treatment for children with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities


• Familiarity with the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) (preferred)


• Supervision of a post-doctoral fellow


• Assistance in developing pediatric behavioral psychology programming at the Olson Huff Center for Child Development


• Conducting training for staff and the community at large

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Clinical or School Psychology


• Full license as a psychologist in North Carolina (see www.ncpsychologyboard.org).


• Experience in the use of applied behavior analysis in the treatment of problem behavior in children with autism and developmental disabilities is required
