Our nursing staff provides quality, compassionate care for our patients and the community. Our vision is to be a nationally recognized model of professional nursing practice committed to excellence. We have five adult Intensive Care Units, one Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and one Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; nine progressive care/step-down units; seven general medical and/or surgical units; a full range of women's and children's departments, including Maternal/Fetal Medicine, Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, Pediatrics; and numerous specialty departments, including adult, child, and adolescent psychiatry, Endoscopy, Pre- and Intraoperative Surgical areas, Integrative Healthcare, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Inpatient, Ambulatory, and all major specialties with the exception of intensive burn care and transplants. Various support staff include Wound Therapy nurses, Infection Prevention Specialists, and a 24/7 IV Team. The Center for Nursing Excellence provides nursing clinical experts, professional educators, and collaborative leaders who provide resources for evidence-based practice, professional development, and clinical support.
